Politique : je t'aime, moi non plus !/ Le Mauricien 28/03/2011

REGARD
Politique : je t'aime, moi non plus !

FABIANI BALISSON
Jeunesse Militante

POLITICAL LYING LIARS V/S OUR NATION YOUTH - L'Express Weekly 25/03/2011

POLITICAL LYING LIARS V/S OUR NATION YOUTH - L'Express Weekly 25/03/2011

During the last dreadful general election in May 2010, where a combination of the power of money and the evil known as ‘communalism’ reigned over the determination for a better Mauritius, many politicians who are sitting in the government side of the parliament, have promised to “lead us into the future.” I can hardly imagine of a worse fate for any society than to be led into the future by a government consisting of Minotaurs, Cyclopes, Cerberus and Medusas. Lord Voldemort could easily be one of them. Surely not all of them but some. Even the most honest and well-intended, if any, among them are powerless to improve the country in any way.

But the blame cannot rest upon you by Chetan Ramchurn on behalf of La Jeunesse Militante/ Le Mauricien 21/03/11

Dear Prime Minister,

This correspondence is merely our way of showing our appreciation of your actions over the last years. Humbled as we are by the magnitude of your body of work. Akin to that of Da Vinci's collection where masterpieces stand next to each other…The Last Supper next to the Mona Lisa itself standing to another magnum opus in The Battle of Anghiari. Your répertoire being as rich as the Italian Renaissance Master, our concern is to do full justice to your numerous accomplishments.

Mea Culpa Patria by Fabiani Balisson on behalf of La Jeunesse Militante/ Le Mauricien 14/03/11

Talking about a revolution? Jeunesse Militante L'Express 11/03/2011

Talking about a revolution?

Met a leech some weeks back.

But ‘leech’ is certainly not the politically correct term. Met someone close to the power bearers not too long from now.  He was a man of few words. Sadly, not few enough to spare me from his self-adoring moments. My comment on the fact that he had reached the heights of the corporate world only because His Benefactor had placed his caring hand on him had  ruffled him. Funnily, he spoke of morality.  As unnatural in his mouth as a speech in Hindi from Navin would. Immoral people tend to be highly sensitive when they are confronted with the truth. Such species usually have a pathological need to veil themselves behind titles and decorations as well as a thinly veiled arrogance.

Interview of a 43 year old by Kugan Parapen on behalf of La Jeunesse Militante/ Le Mauricien 09/03/11

So tell me, how does it feel to be 43?

Well, I'm not getting any younger for a start but I feel there's still a long way to go and this brings me hope. Hope that my life will change for the better, hope that my offsprings will rise to the challenge, hope that tomorrow will be sunnier than yesterday.
